About Our Journals
The Wychwoods Local History Society has published a number of works over the years including a journal which was published annually from 1985 to 2016. Each journal contains articles researched and written by members past and present, on a variety of topics pertaining to the history of the Wychwoods.
All 31 copies of the journal, entitled “Wychwoods History” have been digitised in the form of individual PDF files.
The Society acknowledges with grateful thanks, that this has been made possible through the generous funding support of the Greening Lamborn Trust. Their objective is to promote public interest in the history, architecture, old photographs and heritage of Oxford and its neighbourhood by supporting publications and other media that creates access to them.
KMS Litho at Hook Norton have been particularly helpful in converting printed copies of the missing journals to digital PDF files. Particular thanks to Mark Willis for taking such an interest, and to Ali Reed who completed all the camera work so diligently.
